ABOUT PARAN

The PARAN, a registered body of the tribal society, located at Kadambur, is a non-governmental organization working for the tribal community in Kadambur, Thalvadi hills and Sathiyamangalam, Tamil Nadu. Inspired by an apostolic dream, PARAN has been working with Tribal people since 2012, and it has spread across 6 village panchayats and 85 tribal hamlets in Kadambur and Thalavadi hills.

Mission

PARAN engages in cultural identity formation, forest and land rights, improved access to entitlement of the Urali and Sholagar tribes and other marginalized communities by education and organizing in partnership with like-minded organizations, people’s movement and the government sector.
